1. Project Improving the prevention, control and management of invasive alien

species in vulnerable ecosystems in Cuba. 2011-2016.

2. Fisheries Institute meeting of the Greater Caribbean, Puerto Morelos, Mexico.

At this meeting took place, among other activities a workshop on the lionfish.

The Cuban delegation was composed of 8 specialists, including 4 of the

National Aquarium of Cuba, headquarters of the "Lionfish" Project.

Protocol for the study of the lionfish in Cuba

November 2, realised in the National Aquarium of Cuba, the National Workshop "Common Strategy to address the study of the lionfish (Pterois sp.) in Cuba". In the workshop was presented, argued and approved a standard methodology for the study of this species(s) to level of country. It attaches the Protocol for the study of the lionfish in Cuba, in the event assisted the following institutions:
